the technical direction, quality, and delivery of Sitecore solutions across one or more client engagements.
This is a lead engineer role with accountability for leading the technical delivery of complex Sitecore-based solutions. This role requires a strong programming background, deep expertise in Sitecore infrastructure and application architecture, and the ability to
guide technical direction, presentations, and proof-of-concept efforts.
You will own technical delivery across the full project lifecycle, from early solutioning and technical discovery through successful launch and ongoing execution. This includes contributing to pre-delivery planning, defining technical approaches, anchoring proof-of-concept efforts and ensuring solutions meet both client and platform standards.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer with experience in agency or consultancy environments who can balance hands-on technical execution, delivery accountability, mentorship, and strong cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities
Sitecore & Technical Leadership
Serve as the technical authority for Sitecore-based web applications and infrastructure architecture, including templates, workflows, personalization, and experience platforms
Provide best-fit technical solutions for one or more concurrent projects
Lead architecture, design, and development of scalable Sitecore solutions aligned to business needs
Anchor and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) development efforts
Define and enforce best practices for coding, unit testing, reviews, documentation, and technical standards
Mentor team members in technology, architecture, and delivery
Development & Implementation
Lead hands-on development using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework/Core, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
Design and develop complex custom features and components to support client business requirements
Implement platform integrations with third-party services and enterprise systems
Develop workflows, reports, metrics, and customizations within the Sitecore environment
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, peer reviews, and documentation, including functional and technical specifications
Architecture, Analysis & Strategy
Translate business requirements into technical solutions through systems analysis, technical design, and gap analysis
Assist in defining scope, sizing, and estimation of work
Develop architectural roadmaps and blueprints aligned to client strategy
Demonstrate strong understanding of integration points, dependencies, and execution order
Categorize and prioritize technical work to support planning, forecasting, and delivery
Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes
Lead or support technical presentations and demo efforts
Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrate confidence interacting with senior client stakeholders
Collaboration, Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
Support knowledge management and collaborative information-sharing solutions

Requirements
Must Haves:
Remote; 9:00am - 5:00pm EST
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
Deep, hands-on experience with Sitecore XP/XM (or composable Sitecore) including templates, renderings, workflows, publishing, Experience Editor, and personalization concepts
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/Core, and ASP.NET MVC, with the ability to lead through hands-on development and review production-grade code
Strong experience building modern front-end applications using React in Sitecore or headless architectures
Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking, and release management
Ownership of architecture and technical delivery for complex, full lifecycle implementations, including integration planning and risk management
Working knowledge of SQL Server, including understanding Sitecore database architecture and writing queries for troubleshooting and validation
Solid front-end fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including responsive design and Sitecore rendering implementation
Demonstrated technical leadership through mentorship, engineering best practices, and clear communication with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
Should Haves
Strong experience with Git and modern version control workflows (SVN familiarity a plus)
Proficiency with Visual Studio
Strong understanding of SDLC, best practices, and quality-driven development
Nice to Have
Experience building React-based front-end applications using GraphQL, particularly in headless or composable Sitecore architectures

Requirements:
5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer, testing both web and mobile (ios and android) applications;
Experience with Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, WebdriverIO, Browserstack, Postman, Jenkins and GCP;
Solid experience with Unity Game Testing (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality results on time.
